Solid waste management has been a matter of great concern for our country & the world for quite some time now. And, there\u2019s a good reason to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per current estimates, 65 million tonnes of waste is generated every year in India. However, only about 75-80% of it is collected, and out of that, only 22- 28% is processed and treated. And, to make the matter worse, the Municipal Solid Waste generated in India set to increase 7 times in the next 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The matter of concern here is not the waste generated, but the waste collected, and more importantly, the waste processed & treated being very low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
